Break-time Inclusion: A Case Study of the Effects of Adult Organised Play on Children with Special Educational Needs

Using a case study of two pupils with special educational needs in a mainstream school, the author describes the nature and levels of their participation in breaktime play. He examines how adult facilitation and organisation of play affected their participation and enjoyment, both during and following the intervention period.
